Rita was such a wonderful neighbour to have growing up in O Dwyers Villas. An inspiration to all. Spent many a day in her house with Peter. Thanks Rita for all the cinema trips to The Royal, all free of course. You are a great friend of my mothers. You are a huge loss to O Dwyers Villas. Rest in Peace Rita.

My deepest sympathies to Joan and the Pickford and Nestor families on the death of their aunt Rita. She was a wonderful woman who will be greatly missed.

I remember Rita since the day she moved into number 82, she endeared herself to all of us as we passed up and down the road. Even though so many of us left Thomondgate, Rita was one of the nice memories we brought with us when we left.

Words cannot express the loss felt by all who knew and loved Rita. In my yourth she was the nearest thing I ever had to a mother and most Friday nights after I would return home from a dance or movie I would call into Rita next door for a chat and a cuppa.
To Linda and the children my heart goes out to you all and her wider family. Jesus said 'Come unto me and I will give you rest' May she rest in peace until we meet again.
