My sincerest condolences to you all, I’m devastated to hear of Rita’s passing. I met Rita a few weeks ago when we were both staying in hospital, such a kind-hearted classy lady full of warmth which is so rare to find. She was beautiful inside and out so it was a pleasure getting to know her, she made friends with everyone there. Rest in peace Rita.

So sad to hear about the tragic loss of Rita. She was a beautiful, kind woman who always made us feel welcome and was always smiling and full of good nature and humour. Rita always went out of her way to have a little chat with my family and I when we were down in later years, expressing a genuine interest in everyone. She was a very special great aunt and will be deeply missed by many.

I have a beautiful photograph of Rita on my sitting room wall when she was a bridesmaid for my mother many years ago. My memories of her are of a kind, gentle and unassuming person who gave the best of herself to everyone else. I am away at the moment and won't be able to attend the funeral which I very much regret.
