Deepest sympathy to Róisín, Fearghal, Gráinne and all of Rita's family. Rita was a remarkable lady. I have such fond memories of childhood visits to the house in Churchtown. Rita and Morrie would graciously host the 'grown-ups' and us kids would stay up late watching scary movies, listening to records (Prince!) and consuming as much sugary snacks as we could lay our hands on. I am really saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved, Mother Rita. I have very fond memories of meeting Rita over the years, but particularly during our Third Level student days in the 90's. Sincere sympathies to Roisin, Fearghal and Grainne and all of Rita’s family on her sad passing. Rita made an enormous contribution to Fianna Fáil in Dublin South East and through that to politics in Ireland. She was a formidable contributor at meetings (often with a glint in her eye). In her resolve, dedication and commitment to her principles she was a role model for all. Ni fheicimid a leitheid aris ann.
