I was very sorry indeed to hear of Robert's passing. He was a very good friend to me from our time in college, and I also enjoyed the warmth of the Arnopp family circle during those years - so many good memories. To Ger, Alison, Carol, Louise, Alan and David, my deepest sympathy, and I hope that the very great love and respect that others clearly held for Robert will be of some comfort to you in your time of loss.

Sincere condolences to Ger and family on the passing of Robert. He was a Founding Member of the Bandon Hockey Club in 1975 and gave much of his time to the Club to help it along, including coaching the girls.

I have so many happy memories of him as our coach in Bandon Hockey Club and of the many lifts both Rob and Ger gave me to and from training. He was such a lovely person.
