Deepest condolences Dolores and all of Bob’s wider family.

We will deeply miss Bob, as a friend and wonderful neighbour for many years. When we moved to Whitethorn many moons ago Bob was one of the first neighbours that we made friends with, and we remained friends ever since.

We will miss the chats and laughs that we had and many conversations about sport - golf, pitch & putt, tennis and the job he loved in The Botanical Gardens.

Our deepest condolences at this tough time.

We both knew Bob as students and later as work colleagues. He'd always stop for a chat on the mower, and we'd put the world to rights! He was much missed after his retirement.

We often still bumped into him in our local shops, and we'll miss seeing him in super value or going for his breakfast on a Friday.

Bob may you rest in peace, hopefully you'll get in a few good rounds on that pitch and putt course on the sky! Xxx

To the Family of Young Robert,

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved cousin, Young Robert. His courageous battle has ended, but his strength and spirit will forever remain in our hearts. Robert was a remarkable person, full of warmth and kindness, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Our hearts especially go out to his loving wife, Dolores, his dear mother, our Auntie Eileen, and his brothers, our cousins Finbar, Terence, and Maurice. We also remember his wonderful father, Robert Senior, and take comfort in knowing they are reunited. Though we are miles away in Canada, we are with you in spirit, sharing in your grief and sending our love and prayers. We wish we could be with you in person.

Robert will forever be with us in so many great memories of special times together. May you find comfort in these memories and in knowing that his legacy of love and resilience will live on.

So sorry Maurice,Terry - I think you might have repaired my washing machine a while ago, and so sorry to the rest of your family.He had the best knowledge of the great actors and actress on stage and film, and those who really knew him on the job, well' he had also a great knowledge of past students names, and the laugh we used to have at the teabreak table, having a laugh with Susan and Pauline. I think he used to call her ructions. So sorry I can't be there tomorrow cause I am home with my family in Mayo. I'll watch it online tomorrow. So, so sorry for your loss, Michael
