My apologies....rereading my message of condolence to Bob s family.....a mistake in date given.....Bob came to my retirement 'do' in 2001.....a very long time ago........sorry to have written the wrong date...
Only heard yesterday about Bob s death...for years I worked with him in 37 O'Connell St....I remember him saying ( after he retired) that he only came into town for confession and a hair cut but he did come to my retirement 'do' at the bank in 2020...I was looking at his photo yesterday.
My deepest sympathy to his family.
Very sorry to hear of your loss. We used to spend time in your house when you lived in Mallow and Abbeyleix. You are remembered in our prayers

So sorry to hear about the passing of Bob! I used to love meeting him when he was out for his walks, & he was such a good friend to my dad, Liam Kelly!
My deepest sympathies to all the McAdoo family on the sad passing of Bob. I worked with Bob in the mid 70’s ,as a very junior Bank Official, at AIB , 1/3 Lr.Baggot St. and he was such a gentleman. I was thrilled to have him and Mona attend our wedding in Clonmel and still treasure the silver wedding gift. He was one of life’s special people.
