My self and Paul had our wedding photos taken with the Bobby Best Studios 20 Years ago, when photos were photos, no filters, we were what we were. He was always there for Shamrock Rovers taking photos at times out of his own time and pocket. Thanks for all the memories there are many times that would not have been captured if he had not been there. I was so sorry to learn of the passing of Bobby whom I have known and respected for many years and indeed whom I saw only recently in Tallaght Stadium. He was very much part of the Shamrock Rovers family and I was a big fan of all of his endeavours. Bobby was a man who was ever present in my life, thanks to his lifelong friendship with my father Tom. I enjoyed many a Thursday evening pint in the company of Bobby and my dad, and Bobby took my Communion, Confirmation and wedding photos. Thank you Bobby for your engaging company, the frienship you shared with my dad, and the other of the three amigos, your pal Yawn, for over 70 years. I"ll never forget the fantastic night you three jointly celebrated your 40th birthdays together in The Grand Hotel Malahide when you took the mics from the band, sang your hearts out and brought the house down. Rest in Peace Bobby, you are much loved and will be sadly missed xx

Sad to hear of the passing of Bobby Crawford. First met Bobby 53 years ago when he knocked at my parents door and asked me to sign for Kilmore Boys. From then began an allegiance with Kilmore Boys for 21 years and a friendship with Bobby for longer. Taught me everything in football and in life,in those years.
