Robert Curley

My sincere sympathy to Robert's family and friends. I am sorry to read of his death. RIP.
I last spoke with Robert a few years ago in Dun Laoghaire, when he spotted me walking along. He was in very good form and seemed to be enjoying life. Which was really great to see.
I remembered him well from his visits to the Library in Bray, in more difficult times for him, and also that as a very young man he had been an excellent carer to a neighbour of mine, during his final illness.
May Robert's gentle soul have eternal peace.

I offer my sincere sympathy to Robert’s family, friends and neighbours. It’s been a long time since I met Robert but I remember him so well from our “C.A.S.A. days” in Bray in the 80’s as a kind, caring, fun, gentleman. Rest in Peace Robert.

So sad to hear today about Robert’s passing. Thinking of Robert and his lovely family at this very sad time. I know he’ll be looking over you all from heaven and is being minded by mother Mary now who is was strongly devoted to.

Sincere sympathy to roberts family,we knew him a long time from when he lived in sandycove, theres no doubt he with his dear sister gertie and he had great faith in god. May he rest in peace.

It truly saddens me to hear of Robert's passing. I spent many a private moment in his company and he had a soft heart. Sometimes in life, others take advantage of that. I wish all his remaining family members strength and comfort now and into the future, RIP Robert.

We are so sorry to hear of Robert's passing. Heartfelt condolences to all his family and friends. Robert was a very kind and fun loving person. We have fond memories of our time together in CASA, on trips to Lourdes and at our Sunday Socials. We will always remember the laughs we had together. RIP Robert.

To Elaine & all the Curley family, I'm so sorry to hear about Robert's passing, He was such a lovely guy. Myself & my family have many great memories of Robert back in the day, he was always down in my grandparents house, when I was a little girl, I always loved him calling down because we'd have such a laugh with him. He even drove my nan & her aunts down to Maynooth to see a family member & my nan would be doubled up in 2 talking about it because Robert kept trying to drive up the hill & the car kept going backwards. We all have such fun memories. I always remember him as the manager in Abrakebabra, he was so immaculately put together & had his hair slicked back & his moustache perfect, I think at one time in the 80's, he had a perm too, he loved his style, Bless him. When I worked with Elaine in Bray Partnership, we'd have a chat about him & I'd be delighted to hear that he was doing well. The last time we saw him in Bray was last year I think, we had a good chat & he was asking about my nan Breda, he loved her, sadly she died in January of this year, so Robert please give my nan a big hug from me & I hope you're both having a good aul catch up. Elaine, I'm sure Robert is reunited with your beloved husband Oliver. Robert may your gentle soul rest in peace now until we all meet again.
