We were really very sorry when we heard of Bob's passing RIP.

My sincere condolences to Rose and all Bob’s family at this very sad time. Bob was a wonderful teacher, work colleague and a great friend. I am very grateful to have had Bob as a teacher in Linen hall/Bolton Street and later to have worked with him there. In recent times I gave him a small hand with some of the harps he had made and we had some great discussions. Always inspired by Bob and that he was always planning his next project regardless of any obstacles that age or health put in his way. While he has gone, his teaching, generosity and goodness live on. Greatly missed. I feel privileged to have known him.

To Jean and the McShane family, I am so so sorry to hear of the death of Mr McShane. He adored his wife, children and grand children and was very much loved in return and was so proud of his beloved family. It was a genuine honour to meet him again a few weeks ago and he helped me so much and I will treasure that time and his words always. He is definitely in Heaven and will watch over you all through this awful time. May he Rest in Peace.

It is with a heavy heart we hear of Robert McShane's passing. We are grateful to have met both him and Roseanne during our trip to Ireland in 2017. We will always have fond memories of our time with him.
