Can I offer my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Gerry. RIP.
I am sorry to read of his death.
Our paths crossed for some time in Belmont N.H in 2022.
Gerry, though at that time recovering from a health setback, displayed admirable resilience.
We shared interests in areas of agriculture, both equine and bovine.
And also a common political heritage.
Gerry was an excellent raconteur and he brought to his storytelling a lifetime of veterinary work and wider experiences. His outlook and demeanour completely belied his great age.
I had the great privilege of sharing that short period with Gerry.
A very remarkable man.
May his gentle soul have eternal rest.
Michael, Bray.
