My sincere sympathy to the Poff family on their loss of Gordon. I worked with Gordon for about 10 years in Jacobs and have some fond memories of our times together. Indeed I became an honorary member of their 'Grandfathers Club' where we all celebrated the births of any of our children or grandchildren with a lunch out. These special occasions were recorded on Gordon's camera.

So sorry to hear Gordon has left us.Spent many lovely years with him in Jacob’s, and later regular meetings with ex Jacobite Dougie Wilson. Sadly missed…Mike Purcell

I had the pleasure of sitting opposite Gordon a few years ago at an OW lunch and discovered whilst chatting we had both played at different times…. many years ago… for Suttonians RFC. My thoughts go back to the time when Gordon taught me how to swim in Jacob's swimming pool, and I have a photo which he took of me in the factory in 1958. I met with him in numerous situations and places since. What memories! A true gentleman and now a sad loss.

Janet and all the Poff family. Very sorry to hear of Gordon's passing. He's fondly remembered in the Frost household, from Jacobs and the good times in the "mother house" before Tallaght, all the activities in the parish and popping up everywhere taking photos! My thoughts are with you all at this time.

So sorry to hear the sad news. My Dad George Luke worked with Gordon in Jacobs biscuit factory.
Both Dad and Frances were friends with Gordon and Nancy. Gordon took all our wedding photographs, wonderful photographer.
