David ,Cora ,Mark ,Gavin and the extended family .My deepest sympathy on Bobs passing .I had the pleasure of getting to know Bob for many years following his initial research into family history .We had great times together as our conversations on Irish military History in particular ,rugby and art extended into many social occasions .Thinking of you all at this time of passing

We are sad to hear of Bob's death - we extend our deepest sympathy to his family & extended families. We had the privilege of meeting Bob, & his dear wife Breda, in Cork while mutually researching our family history & ultimately ending up accompanying Bob to the Ireland v the All Blacks match in 2013. Afterwards we consoled each other at his home!
