Bob was my Maths teacher in my final year at Long Eaton Grammar School as it was then. I was struggling with the subject having only got 17% at Maths the previous year. With Bob’s clarity and going the extra mile with some of us after school hours, I ended up passing my GCE O Ievel the following year. He was certainly one of the best teachers I ever had, if not the best. May he rest in peace and Thank You for all your help Sir..
