Condolences to Noeleen and Denise sorry to hear the sad news about Robert I met him in the shieling hotel thirty years ago and he asked me if I could still walk on my hands,I told him I could barely walk on my feet. May Our Lord rest him in peace. John.

So sad to hear Robert has passed on. A well respected and decent gentleman. I remember him in Howth NS where his innate intelligence and quick wit were clear to all his classmates - if not always to the muinteoir. I don't expect to see the likes of my old friend Rasher again. You have earned your rest.

RIP rasher condolences to all

l knew Robert and that is how l always addressed him in conversation. l knew him as an intelligent man who could have risen in society and contributed and accomplished much more. But he did attract a fondness from the many who knew him. Forgive our failings and remember the positives. R.I. P. Robert.

Sorry to hear Rasher has passed away, he had been ailing for a while. Great character of Howth and of working on the pier. I was born in No. 23 across the road and anytime I met him in recent years he would always recount being brought in to the house to see me the morning I was born. Always the best of neighbours on Graceo. He was one of our own, Rest in Peace Robert.
