We were shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Robert. Robert was always so helpful when he came to our department. He always had a smile, a laugh and a joke to tell. We would like to express our sincere condolences to Robert's family at this difficult time.

Totally shocked and saddened to hear about Robbie’s untimely and sudden passing. My sincere and deepest sympathy and condolences to Robbie’s wife Theresa, his children Sarah and Aidan, his sisters and brother, Iris, Audrey, Louise, Ronnie and Helena. I have so many very fond memories of Robbie as we grew up on “The Terrace” in Marino. Robbie was a great all round sportsman from GAA, Soccer, Cycling to Tennis. I have very vivid memories of his pink Raleigh Flyer (1978!) and scorching around the Wicklow mountains on our bikes youth hosteling during the summer school holidays, loving every moment of the freedom, great memories indeed. Time now for Robbie to Rest in Eternal Peace.

Hello Theresa, I worked with Robert, going as far back as the Equipment Care days with Mulcahy's on Greenhills Road. I was shocked to hear of Robert's passing. Unfortunately, I found out too late to attend the funeral but I'm sure a very large portion of the industry was there. It must have been extremely difficult for both you and the children but I'm sure they will be of great comfort to you in the coming days and weeks . Once again,

I just couldn't believe when I heard the very sad news of Robert's passing. My sincere sympathy to the Pasquetti family. I taught Robert PE in Ardscoil Ris, Griffith Avenue. In my first ever class, Robert had an accident and broke his leg. I remember the moment clearly. He became the first student I got to know in my teaching career. Throughout that ordeal I remember his calmness and in the days following his polite easy way about him. Thankfully he made a full recovery and we chatted about that accident many times. It seems like a long time ago and only yesterday all at once. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his sudden death. He was a lovely, warm-hearted person and I wish his family well at this sad time.

I have to say Robert was a great guy and happy to share information and help over the years, perhaps even better to have an aul moan with, we had all the answers! Robert will be missed and I’m only sorry I didn’t get to share a pint or two. RIP Robert….
