Dear Niamh – with regret, I don’t think we have ever met. However, I want you and your family to know how very sad my wife Sarah and I are to hear that Robin has passed. We both knew him well from a time we worked together at ITN. I have known Robin since I first worked with him in 1975 at a small film company. He was an amazing character, always entertaining, extremely funny, talented artist and loyal friend. Our ITN Graphics colleagues will always remember him for his legendary humour. Inevitably, when we meet and talk about the old days, Robin will be at the top of our conversation. Sarah and I will particularly remember him for forgetting to turn up as Best Man at our wedding – but he did follow on to the reception! He was an easy man to love and he will be missed, but not forgotten. Our love to you all.

We are broken hearted for Niamh and children, Niamh herself of course was a wonderful volunteer with Breaking The Silence a testament to such a loving family.
