Christine, so sorry to hear of the passing of your son. Deepest sympathies at this sad time to you and all your family.
I didn’t get to meet Robyn. One always thinks one has all the time in the world.
My sincerest condolences to all who were gifted by his life and knew how much he had to offer, if only he had not been ripped away so abruptly. Ni beith a leithead ann arais. Gra duibh go leir.
I worked alongside Robyn making pies and I remember him to be incredibly gentle and sweet-natured. He would always have a smile at the ready for you and lighten up the day with his quick wit. I remember how he used to perk up immediately as soon as Alex came in the door to greet him. You could see how much they loved each other.
I am so sorry Alex and Robyn's family. I will always remember him with great fondness.
So sorry to learn that Robyn has passed away. I met him this year in college and he certainly made an impression - kind, supportive and fun. My condolences to all his family and friends.
Though I did not know Robyn I would like to add my condolences to his loved ones. The death of any student diminishes us all in the university family, as the heartfelt words of my colleagues in Philosophy and Archaeology below make clear.

So sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you- Christine, Alex and all Robyn's family and friends.
Such a shock to learn of Robyn's passing. It was such a pleasure to have him in the classroom and on field classes - paddling to Dún Aonghusa on Inis Mór and crawling into Uaimh na gCat at Rathcroghan. A ready smile, wicked sense of humor, intelligence and eloquence. For a student to make such a strong impression, and be so clearly liked by his classmates, in one short academic year tells you all you need to know about Robyn. He will be missed and remembered.
My deepest sympathy to Chriissy and family.
My deepest sympathies to all of Robyn s family .. beloved mother .. loved and special partner Alex friends and classmates .. what an amazing young man how intelligent and brave to go back to college to follow his dream . What a difference you made to so many In such a short time .
