Only heard of Roddys passing recently a lovely talented guy memorable to meet during my young golfing days in Rosses my sympathies to you all,what a banjo player, RIP Roddy, Ray Smith Galway

Hazel and Family ...and Jazz Ladds Family,thank you for lighting up the light that lit up all our lives,your one and only Roddy.He was the music to the lives of us lucky audience members so privileged to have enjoyed his lifetime of sharing so generously his superb talents as a musician/maestro,warm & witty raconteur and made everyone feel like a friend forever.My deepest sympathy to each individual one of you in your loss of someone so exceptionally wonderful.

Hazel, Kel, Leigh and Sharon. I am so sorry to hear of Roddy’s passing. He was honestly one of my most favorite people on this planet. As a close family friend, to walk into the Jazz on a Sunday afternoon, or on Christmas Eve in the Swan, he was my homecoming and comfort. His wit was unending/unnerving and his boundless enthusiasm to bring his audience to laughter, during great musical segments, was palpable. He was, and always will be, a legend! I am honored to have known him and him me.

I’m so sorry, as I know you’ll miss him, but as he always said, “we’re all just sitting in gods waiting room”. ❤️
