Deepest sympathies to Roddy' s family. We only heard the news at the weekend. It was always a joy to talk to Roddy. He used to ring me over the years and we always had great chats. His loss in Comhaltas circles will be deeply felt. Leaba i measc na Naomh dò.

Deepest condolences to the Spain family on the death of Roddy. I was very shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. Roddy was a lovely, kind and helpful man with an acerbic wit and a wry sense of humour. He was helpful not just to his colleagues but also to the many, many service users, parents and staff he listened to and cared for particularly during his time as a member of the Chaplaincy team in the St. John of God Services.
He was my colleague and friend, always willing to lend a listening ear and give a helping hand. He will be sadly missed. Go well my friend. May your soul soar towards the light and your faith lead you home.
