Dear Nora and all the Stokes family. It was with great sadness that we learned of the sudden passing of our longtime friend Rory. He was a good colleague since the days in Beecham Pharmaceuticals. Sincere sympathy to you all. Our thoughts are with you all at this sad time. May he rest in peace.

Rory was such a life force, always energetic and full of enthusiasm and ideas; a ‘wise head’ and great fun, generous with his time and insight, always happy to discuss and advise. Hard to believe he’s gone so soon. He was an invaluable support and colleague through our 14 years working together. May he rest in peace, he’s earned it.

Deepest condolences to you Colette and Rory’s entire family on your great loss on the passing of Rory RIP. When we required a place in a Nursing Home for my mother Rory supplied immediately and visited her several times to ensure she was happy there. We shall miss seeing him on our walks.
