So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing Derek. Thinking of you, Cathy and Anna and all the White family. May he rest in peace.
Meticulous is the word I would ascribe to Roger in his many roles. I first met him at the Leeson Park Players where he was stage manager and set designer when I was a guest producer, many decades ago. He was equally meticulous in managing the affairs of the Rathfarnham Historical Society where I was a member and latterly, I was delighted to see him awarded the role of Honorary President of the Rathfarnham Ballyroan Historical Society. My condolences to his family.
A Gentleman .
With sincere sympathy to the White family on the passing of your beloved
Roger.
May he and Maud now be at rest and in eternal Peace.

Sincere condolences to Derek and Gordon, and to the extended White family, on the passing of your Dad. May he rest in peace.
The news of Roger’s passing sends waves of sadness through Rathfarnham parish and into the minds of all who were lucky enough to know and love him. His incisive brilliance, his engineering skills and creativity, his historical knowledge, his dramatic interests and backstage know how, his devotion to Maud and family, to his church and community, to the wider world and to the greater good were coupled with a dogged Can Do attitude and a relentless sense of duty. His imprint can be seen all over our parish pursuits. We will all miss him greatly and personally I remember his great kindness and friendship with my parents which extended to me and all our family. Deepest sympathies to his children and grandchildren and all his friends. May everything be shipshape in your hereafter Roger, so you can rest easy!
So sorry to hear of the passing of your dad, Gordon. Sincere condolences to you and your family. May he Rest in Peace. Thinking of you all at this sad time.
Roger White was a guardian of Rathfarnham Heritage. His involvement & stewardship of the Rathfarnham Historical Society is remembered by many in Rathfarnham, Willbrook, Whitechurch and Ballyboden with affection and respect. Local history mattered to Roger and we in Ballyboden Tidy Towns appreciate his hard work for future generations. We send our sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Sincere sympathy to Derek Cathy Anna and White family on the passing of Roger. May he Rest In Peace.
I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Derek and Gordon on the passing of your dad Roger. I had the great pleasure of working with him very recently on the Remembrance Garden project in the grounds of Rathfarnham Parish Church. Roger would visit the works daily to check the progress and would always arrive with an assortment of prototype designs and tools to follow up on ideas that were discussed. Although this was only 3 years ago, he was full of energy and enthusiasm. However, when Roger arrived with his chainsaw one day, to cut some of the Yew trees, we had to make sure it stayed in the back of his car!!. I was delighted with the opportunity to get to know your Dad and will remember him very fondly, particularly when passing the garden that he was so passionate about completing. Very sorry for your loss. Gordon Wright and family

Sending condolences to all the White family at this time.
Roger was a gentleman and very kind to everyone in Brookfield Tennis Club.
He always wore whites and was a very fine tennis player.
He looked after the club like it was he's own. Turn he's hand to any job that needed doing.
He will be missed.
Rest in peace dear soul.

Sincere condolences to the White family. Roger was a member of the Countrywide Hillwalkers Association since 2001. He made a notable contribution to the enhancement of our programme of walks. During his time as Club president he undertook an overdue streamlining of our rule book. He is remembered with great affection as a true gentleman.

I first met Roger during the bicentenary of Rathfarnham Parish Church in the 1990s, and subsequently through the Rathfarnham Historical Society. Roger had a deep knowledge of Rathfarnham history which he shared generously. My deepest sympathies to his family at this sad time.
Dear Gordon, Derek and families.
Roger was a great servant of Rathfarnham Parish Church. For many years he was a Glebewarden. As an Engineer, his expertise and indeed handiwork, is to be seen in many areas. Especially in the refurbishment of the Parish Centre, the Millennium Chapel and the Memorial Hall.
Roger's gentlemanly ways, his good advice and dry wit will be missed by us all.

I just wanted to send my condolences too Mr white family Roger was very good he did lot for Rathfarnham parish church
It is with great sadness that I heard of Rogers passing. During my term as Director of Tennis in Brookfield Tennis Club he was the most gracious and helpful supporter of what I was trying to achieve. Roger always met people with a friendly face and was always willing to stop to talk even when I was venting about some problem that bothered me at the time. When I needed apparatus for various purposes he would listen to my description of the item and a few days later he would turn up with a version he had designed and constructed himself. He will be greatly missed in Brookfield and I will miss my conversations with him..
I offer Derek, Catherine, and Anna along with Roger's extended family my sincerest sympathy.
May Roger rest in peace
