We are so sorry to hear that Roisín has passed. She was indeed a lovely lady. John and Roisin were our dear next door neighbours in Willington, Templeogue in the early 1970’s. We don’t have one memory of Roisin and John where we are not cheering, dancing, messing, laughing and trying out some bizarrely strange but funny dance moves. What a safe haven Sleepy Hollow was for us as young people. Roisín gave young people such time . She knew how to engage us, how to welcome us, how to get the gossip and how to love us. She mixed seamlessly across generations . Her five beautiful grandchildren all dancing across the same floors as we did and Roisin always extending the welcome to include all our children and to take an interest in all children she met . The world feels empty right now without her warmth and nurturing force. Roisín’s vitality lives on very definitely in her pride and joy Jane, Johnny and Luke . Also in the fun and antics of Andy, Abaigeal and Kate. We hold time and memory with the Caffrey’s close as the best of what life has to offer . We send all Roisín’s family much love as she was all about family so much so she made everyone even on the periphery feel like they could join in and become a fostered Caffrey. We will all try and keep the dancing alive. May you rest in peace beautiful kind woman. We love you lover x

We only shared a short time with your mam in the same ward in Vincent’s we made the ward into a beauty parlour for the day and enjoyed all her amazing travel adventures may she fly high and free love to you all and our sincere condolences to you all x
