Roisín Gilroy

Heartfelt condolences to Dave and all of Roisíns family and close friends. I had the honor of working with Roisín many years ago, and the fond memories of her zest for life and constant sense of fun remain with me. Truly a special soul who left her mark on everyone she met.

Roisin was a dynamic and powerful force in St CCU. When I think of her now I think of the Credit Union prayer : O divine Master, grant that I may not So much seek to be consoled as to console; To be understood as to understand; To be loved as to love; For its is in pardoning that we are pardoned; And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

She was a great supporter of our centre through her work with St Canices CU and always went out of her way to be helpful and accommodating. She will be dearly missed. RIP Roisin.

My sincerest condolences to Dave & Roisin's family on her passing. I met Roisin (and Audrey) in Germany one summer 30+ years ago and when we both did Erasmus at uni. We've been in touch over the years keeping up to date on each other's lives. Such a thrill when she went to Bad Sommenhardt last year and sent me all the 'news' from there. Roisin had a gift for meeting and making friends that was one in a million. I'm the better for knowing her. She'll be so greatly missed. Rest in peace, Roisin.

I met Roisin a number of times through our mutual friend Sinead. I can truly say I have never met anyone with more zest for life than her. She was always so friendly and full of fun, she made a lasting impression. The world is definitely a lesser place without her in it. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. We had the pleasure of knowing Roisin for many years and as a gang we went on various trips, and weekends away. You were always guaranteed the fun with Rosin around, her personality was infectious and she was such a character, never a dull moment.
