When we heard the news of Roisín's death we were deeply saddened, and also flooded with many wonderful memories of Roisin's place in our lives. In 1983 she came to the aid of a group of cyclists in Balally parish, Dublin who were heading out on a cycling peace pilgrimage to Jerusalem. Consist of six adult leaders and 18 teenagers, including 3 blind lads from Rosmini College, Roisin volunteered to act as back-up which involved feeding this hungry bunch, providing a listening ear for those who were homesick and eventually didn't get to Jerusalem herself as she had to leave the trip at Athens to get home in time for school. Her generous spirit was such that she did this without the reward of seeing the group meet its destination. Roisin remained a good friend to so many of us down through the years since then and she has left a hole in our hearts. In iothlann Dé go gcastar sinn
