Sorry to hear of the sad passing of Romy, she was an amazing woman.

My deepest condolences to Andy, Sarah-Jane, Jenny and Joe and all extended families. Romy will live on in our thoughts and be a source of many wonderful memories. She lived life to the full and can now rest peacefully with, David, her soulmate and your Dad.

I was so sorry to learn of the death of your wonderful Mum, Romy. She had such a generosity of spirit for all to enjoy. I was very sorry to hear of Romy's passing. She was a lovely person, gentle but lots of fun as well. I loved her paintings and her passion for beutiful things in nature. The Aughrus Peninsula is the poorer for her not being here.

Romy was a very special person in so many ways. She loved life and adored David and the family. Romy's friends were very important to her and she made every one feel valued and precious.

For very many years a group of us met on a Saturday morning in Liz's bookshop in Rathgar.
When Liz closed her shop, Romy organised a move across the road to the Bijou restaurant.
Saturday morning will never be the same for the Bijou Belles without our founding member.

It was one of the greatest pleasures whilst running The Rathgar Bookshop to meet Romy Hogan . Every Saturday morning ‘the girls’ arrived for their coffee and chat . Loveliest group ever! Many condolences to the family from Cleggan. David and Romy were part of life here and we missed 'em hugely when they left. Romy one of the kindest women it's ever been my privilege to know and though sad at her sudden passing, what a fine life well lived and in truth you can't ask for more.
