With deepest sympathy on the passing of Ron.
He was such a dear friend to our family and especially to my father, Dan. Their daily chats, messages, and regular meet-ups in Dunshaughlin brought so much joy, and those moments will be sorely missed.
It is a comfort to think of Ron reunited now with his wife Ber, together again to live out their eternal lives side by side. His friendship, kindness, and presence will never be forgotten, and he will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Sending love, sympathy, and strength to all who mourn his loss.

So very sad to hear of the passing of a very special man. Condolences to Barry and Graham and the extended family. It was always a pleasure to be in the company of this unique man. And when he and Bernie were together, it was a privilege to witness the love they so obviously had for each other. That mischievous twinkle and well timed joke. What a gent he was. I truly hope that Ron and Bernie are having a ball together. The sadness of them leaving everyone in such a short space of time is hard to fathom. I wish everyone peace of mind and serenity as they navigate this sad path. But as I write this, I can almost hear Ron chuckling. He wouldn’t want people to be sad. Ron, you’re going to be missed terribly. Give Ber a big kiss from us. Holy Moly. ❤️

It was always a pleasure to consider Ron one of my best friends. Ron, a man who overcame the odds and succeeded brilliantly in the face of adversity; Ron, a successful businessman by dint of hard work day and night; Ron: a man with a prodigious memory for statistical data, especially sporting achievements of which he was an avid follower; Ron, a loving and generous family man; Ron, a philosophical titan who recognized and accepted that the end was near, and gratefully acknowledged how fortunate his life had been. RIP Ron - until we’re again neighbours in Kilmessan.

Our deepest sympathy to Graham, Barry and family.
We met Bernie and Ron when we all worked
together many years ago and remained friends since then. We are so sad to lose Ron so soon after Bernie. Ron was one of a kind. He was so articulate and had a special gift when it came to putting thoughts into words. He had an amazing sharp memory and took delight in knowing details of music, sport
and politics. He was such a warm and mischievous funny character who always kept the good side out. We’ll miss his humourous daily updates which
always made us smile. We will always remember him with love and think of himself and Bernie
together again.
