We were all so sad to hear of Ronnie’s passing. We remember with fondness Ronnie as a young man growing up in Ballintemple. He always had time for us younger kids and was a larger than life character, full of stories and fun. We are very sorry not to have had a chance to renew old memories with him. We pass our sincere sympathy to John & Mark and to his Wife and Daughter whom we never had the good fortune to meet. May he rest in peace.

I remember a feeling of great sadness when I heard that Ron had passed. I only knew of him from the documentaries on 9/11 and the pain in his eyes as he spoke in his gentle tone about how his sister and niece died as he was saving a woman. We were neighbors in Ballintemple many years back, Ron was very popular. Like so many people I heard of his singular courage on 9/11 where he faced great danger to help an injured lady in one of the Towers. God rest Ron, Ruth and Gordon, whose lives enriched many.
