Condolences to Maureen and Family. Ron was a part of our lives in the early 1970's. I still have, and play, the guitar that he bought for the Siroccos group. May he rest in peace.
With Deepest Sympathy
To Glen, Mark, and the whole family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of such an extraordinary man.
In over fourteen years of looking after people, Ron was one of the most remarkable souls I have ever met. A true gentleman: warm, happy, and endlessly positive. He carried a light within him that made even the simplest moments feel meaningful.
He found beauty in the everyday: his walks in Malahide, the sunshine on his face, the familiar comfort of his newspaper, and the peaceful view from his window. He loved his walks and greeting everyone he met with kindness.
Music was a great love of his especially Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin and he sang with a joy that was contagious.
He loved people, he loved life, and he shared that love generously.
I will miss him deeply.
He taught me so much about gratitude, about appreciating what we have, and about meeting each day with a smile. His spirit, his humour, and his gentle presence will stay in my heart forever.

Very sorry to hear about Ron's passing. He was a great manager of the Siroccos folk group and was very proud when we won the Kilkenny Beer Festival. He was always hugely encouraging to all four of us over many years singing in Dublin, Letterkenny, Tralee, Disney, the Olympia Theater, the Embankment, and many other venues. He would have remembered one of our favorite songs, which is appropriate at this sad time: "Don't Forget to Remember Me" (the Bee Gees, 1969). My sincere condolences to Maureen.
Sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I had an amazing time working with Ron in AMEV.
