I’m so lucky that we visited two years ago Ron and Carrie in Newbridge for a nice stay and wonderful evening. I didn’t saw Ron for over 30 years and it was interesting to hear about all the time we haven’t seen us. Also Erika still remembers the time Ron visited Germany a small child, talking German with his cousins.

ich weiss nicht,ob du dich noch an mich erinnern kannst. Mein Zwillingsbruder und ich haben euch vor vielen Jahren einmal besuchen dürfen und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit bei euch. Es ist sehr traurig über den Tod von Ronald zu hören. Ich werde ihn immer als liebenswerten und humorvollen Menschen in Erinnerung behalten. Nie werde ich die Flaschen hinter dem Vorhang vergessen, die die ganze Nacht geblubbert und gezischt und mich gegruselt haben, weil ich nicht wusste was das war. Fühl dich ganz lieb umarmt...wir denken an euch...

Carrie im am so sorry to hear of Rons passing.
I only knew Ron for a short time but it was enough to see the true gentleman with a mischievous twinkle in his eye.
