Ronald (Ronnie) McCormick

At the start of my teaching career, I worked in Gorey Vocational School when Ronnie was Principal. A gentleman with a kind heart and a mischievous smile. What a privilege to have known him.

Ronnie, a sincere friend and fellow chorister, a true neighbour who welcomed us to Tara Hill, an entertaining guest at our table. With deep affection, our heartfelt condolences.

Sending sincere sympathies. Ronnie touched the lives of many, both in Ireland and overseas, through education, charity work, woodturning and music. He was a true gentleman with a generous spirit and will be missed by many. May he rest in peace.

Please accept our sympathies on Ronnie's passing. We had much fun together in Gorey Lions Organisation over the years! A great sense of humour and mischievous grin!!

He was a man of many talents from beautiful wood carvings ,wine making , all round handy man , fab tenor , except for his frustrating golf .His rendering of Les Mis excerpts would send shivers to the back of your neck.
