Ronan Carolan

It was with great sadness learning of Ronan’s passing. Having worked with him over 6 years at KAUST in Saudi Arabia, he was truly brilliant, sincere, humble, hardworking, and kind. Most importantly, he was a treasured friend. May God grant him the highest place in Paradise. Rest in peace my friend.

I met Ronan for the first time only a few months ago. I was shocked to hear of his sudden passing. Sincere condolences to his family.

My deepest sympathy to Ronan's father Brian, Brian, Niall, Áine, Maria, Ann and Ronan's extended family. Ronan was a true gentleman and friend. Since I first met him all those years ago when we worked in Dunnes together, until his recent passing, he never changed. He stayed true to himself and people gravitated to him. His personality was infectious and he always seemed to manage to find something in common with whoever he met. My friends quickly became his friends, and remained his friends until this day. Even when he moved to Saudi he always made sure to take the time to keep in touch. A quick call could easily turn in to a 3 hour chat. Some of the best times and fondest memories I have are times spent with Ronan. Rest well my friend. You will be greatly missed.
