In particular I remember those kayaking trips in France with Ronan all those years ago. How times have changed and they are a lovely way to remember him.

It was such a pleasure to reconnect with my old classmate so many years later and swop stories of where life had taken us in the meantime, and my only regret is that it was all too brief. It is with great sadness that I've read about the passing of Mr. Connolly. I was a student in Jobstown Community College (graduated 1995) and always remember him as a gentleman. So sorry for the loss of your Ronan. He was my principal years back in Jobstown Community College, I was part of the main group of 1st years when the college was founded.
He done remarkably work with great dedication before and during the transition from St Aidans to what is now Mount Seskin. His legacy will live long with the college.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Ronan. He gave me my first start in education in 1999 and I am still teaching in Jobstown over 20 years later. In my time working with Ronan, I found him to be approachable and 100% supportive, in short a true gentleman. We still often reflect on the years he worked with us and Charlie. Everyone speaks of him so fondly. It is a very sad time for anyone to pass away but definitely harder now then ever. I would have liked to have paid my respects in person but will watch online.
