Farewell Ronan, I wish I could be there on Wednesday to pay tribute to your life. I've always noticed when anybody talks about you it is with a smile. What a lovely mark you have left on the people who knew you.

A true friend who never ever changed. Remembering you calling to the house as a teen and being fed and watered by Mum, even when we weren't there. Hot miwadi and homemade cookies. She revelled in it. The efforts you made to show your sympathies when both myself and Sinead lost our Mums will be cherished forever. Our children grew up knowing what a gent you were, you were and still will be a household name. I'll be forver grateful you were such a formative part of our youth. I'm so saddened you won't be part of our disgraceful ageing. Thank you Ronan. Thank you for just always being you. It was an honour. Sleep well x
