My deepest condolences to Deirdre Aisling Darragh and all the family. Ronan was a wonderful man and taken too soon. My he rest in peace.

Deirdre, Daire and Aisling, very shocked & saddened to hear of the passing of Ronan, some great memories of running with him & competing in races as he was always so competitive, an absolute gent great company to be with and always smiling & positive. Taken far too soon.

Just heard this sad news today. Can I offer sympathy from all at the 19th/36th Phibsboro Scout Group (Panama) where Ronan served as a leader in the 80’s. We will remember him at our past members mass in November

The Mulvenny family were very kind to so many of the All Hallows seminarians, some of us were from the country and many were from other countries but they were the epitome of kindness…I’m saddened that I never got to repay a little of this kindness here in Los Angeles. Sincere condolences to Ronan's family. I knew Ronan through Clonliffe Harriers both racing and assisting with training some of the group. He was always a gent. Riding my bike one day, I had a crash with a car and who came running out from Dolmen Insurance to help me, only Ronan. Typical of the man, always willing to help. Very sorry to hear of his passing. I was deeply shocked to hear the sad news of Ronán's passing.
Lots of good memories of Ronán from the athletics world. Particularly meeting him in AXA/PMPA but most fondly through my late father Pat.

I once ran a pretty decent 800m race up in Santry and Ronán politely said to me "I think that distance is a bit short for you". Always made me laugh.
