Just back from overseas to read about the very sad death of Ronan Murray. We have very fond memories of Ronan when we were in the Bray and District Chamber of Commerce together during the 80's. He was a lovely man, always had a smile and a chuckle and a delight to meet. Did great work reviving the St . Patrick's day Parade. Will also be sadly missed by many of his colleagues.

To Ronans family so sorry for your loss. Ronan was a wonderful down to earth guy. He always had a laugh and a joke. He fixed my heating many a time but we talked a lot of the old days down Peter's road where I lived. Loved all his jokes and messages and the odd drink. We will sure miss him. Thinking of you all. Thinking of you all at this sad time .

All the times you promised you'd get us a rabbit's foot to cure all the sickness going on with the girls when they were younger, sadly there was no rabbit's foot that could cure you . But you soldiered on , 'never loose the faith 'is what you told me . Can't believe you're gone!Who are we going to call now when we can't bleed the boiler, or the shower is making a funny noise? Many they time we fixed things over the phone , thanks to photo messages. You said you'd make me an apprentice some day! We miss you Ronan, and all your funny text messages. We will miss the friendly reminder from RJM plumbing that the clock is changing and the birthday monkey text. We loved getting photos when you went on trips telling us if it was suitable for kids or not . Sadly there will be no photos from this trip, I hope you got the heat back in your bones and that you can sleep peacefully now. The world is a sadder place without you xx

It was with great sadness that we heard of Ronans passing. A true gentleman, always obliging and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Ronan.

In the 1980s I soldiered with Ronan as we revived the Bray St Patrick's Day parade. His enthusiasm and professionalism were an inspiration to all of us. A terrific guy all round. My sympathy to his family and close friends.
