Deepest sympathy to Emer and Patrick on the death of my former colleague from STAG. Ronnie spoke of you often and with great pride and love. We kept in touch in our respective retirements, exchanging news and racing tips. RIP Ronnie Go Well.

Sincerest condolences to Ronnie's family. He was the lollipop man at my child's school in Churchtown , we will miss him.

Ronnie will be very much missed by all connected with the School Warden service. He was a quiet, unassuming man who got on with his job. He was so dedicated to operating his crossing, not just for the children of Gaelscoil na Fuinseoige, but for the pupils of all other schools in the area too. We are thinking of his family at this sad time.

I am so saddened by the news of Ronnie passing. We always looked forward to seeing Ronnie every day on the school run both for the friendly chats and the care he took of all of our children as they crossed the road. We will all miss our friend Ronnie. Rest in peace.

A true gentleman who will be missed. He gave his time tirelessly in dlsp rugby club for which we are truly grateful and later to the wider community as a lollipop man. Thank you Ronnie for giving to the community and making the world a nicer place. Rest in peace

We are so saddened to hear of Ronnie’s passing. He was a true gentleman. Always kind to the kids and up for the chat. He will be so missed.

Im very sorry to hear of Ronnie's passing. Myself and my daughter had noticed his absence recently from the lights by her school, and had hoped he was ok. We were waiting his return. I enjoyed regular chats with him over the years on the street or by the lights. He was always so friendly and kept an eye on my kids when child minders were in charge of them. He'd report back, which i greatly appreciated. He'd always ask after my other kids who had moved on from the school by his lights. A great man, and he will be very much missed as a lovely part of our daily routine. Wishing his family the best.

Ronnie lived on our road in goatstown and was lollipop man at our kids school. He was great for the chats anytime we met him on a walk or on guard at the school crossing. And was a mine of information. He'd been a postie around Wyckham/ludford where i grew up and knew us all. So sorry he's gone but he certainly left his mark and will always be remembered fondly. An absolute gent with a wry sense of humour. And a wonderful wry smile to go with it. RIP Ronnie. 🥰

I'm so sorry to hear of Ronnie's passing. He was a lovely man and a wonderful traffic warden, who served the Gaelscoil and the surrounding area so well. Ronnie took such care of all the children at our school, my two daughters looked forward to chatting with him and especially liked when we bumped into him at the shops. He will be sorely missed. Sincerest condolences to all of his family. RIP.
