He was a legend and his death marks the end of an era of his music and song. He fought the brave fight, and unfortunately lost the battle. He, and his unique voice, will be remembered for a long time.

Ronnie was a wonderful performer and an amazing man who dealt with his illness with extraordinary dignity.
God bless him, he will be sorely missed.
Great Memories of RONNIE and the DUBLINERS in WESTLODGE HOTEL, BANTRY in the early seventies. My only time seeing them in concert. A special night and a special memory for me.
