Heartfelt sympathy to the extended family on the death of dear Ronnie. She was one of life's special people and a much-loved friend from the 70s in UCD. What a warm, caring, generous and gifted woman, always so lively, natural and unassuming - and that wonderful sense of humour! All the occasions spent in her company are deeply treasured, and we wish there could have been more. With particular fondness, we remember the time she and John stayed with us in Ballinafad for a few days, and her subsequent visit on her own when she so enjoyed Boyle Arts Festival. A trouper and a legend. How greatly she will be missed.
Our sympathies Sheila on the passing of your lovely Mum Ronnie and apologies I Only heard yesterday.
We were sorry to learn of the passing of your Mum. She seems to have been an indomitable lady, and a great headline to follow.

Anne, Sheila, Rory and Eoin. My deepest sympathy on your dear Mum’s passing. Very happy memories of her kindness when we lived in St Kevin’s Park and I was delighted to meet her not so long ago ( all be it at a funeral) she was still her engaging friendly smiling self. a bright light had gone out but she had a great innings.
All my sympathy to the family on the death of dear Ronnie. She travelled with UCD Retired Staff association on many of our trips and her good company, fun, and resilience (which included climbing over stone walls when she was over 90) are fondly remembered.
Anne and family, sincere condolences on the passing of Ronnie. I am sure your many memories of times together will be of comfort to you as you celebrate the long life lived by Ronnie. May she Rest in Peace.
Sincere sympathy to all the family on Ronnie’s death Rip It was always a delight to meet her at family gatherings. A gracious, gifted woman.
Derval and I and our extended family were very sad to learn of Ronnie’s death. Our link was a long one as Ronnie first met my father Garret during the early war years and she and John became life long friends of Garret and my mother Joan.
Ronnie was such a warm, welcoming, bright and engaging person who was so kind to me as a child, but that was her normal modus operandi with all children.
She was committed to a liberal Ireland, her art and above all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who adored her. She wasn’t Granny but always Ronnie which really said everything ~ young at heart. May she rest in peace.
Was very sorry to hear of the passing of Ronnie. My deepest condolences to the whole family and in particular to our friend and colleague Anne.
