Its with sadness that I learned of the passing of Ronnie. My condolences to all his family. We served together in McKee Bks before he joined the DFB. He joined after the Stardust tragedy as it had a profound effect on him. That was his strength and his caring nature. He was one of the good guys. May he rest in peace

It was with great sadness I learned of the passing of my good friend Ronnie. We worked together in no4 for many years where he was a great colleague, fireman and paramedic. He was great craic to have around the station and he shone when dealing with people at incidents. To Shauna, Keith and Gillian my deepest sympathy to you and the rest of the family.

Ronnie and I joined DFB as the class of 82. He to C watch and me to D watch. We worked together in North Strand Fire Station. He was a gentleman, a great work colleague, and later we were neighbours in Swords.
May he rest peacefully.
