I was saddened and shocked to learn of Ronnies passing. I met him in the Council recycling centre and never visited it without a chat. He was like me a Liverpool fan and obsessed with football. He was a most likeable guy, innocent and unassuming and always in good form and up for the banter. I will miss our chats.

Ronnie was a pure gentleman ,had so much time for everyone , we palled together and had so much laughter and spoke highly of his parents and brothers and his friends , i remember in his parents house watching Steptoe & Son one of Ronnie's favourites and he said to me few days later , how much he enjoyed the laughs watching one of his favourite comedies ,Ronnie your family and friends will sadly miss you and your smiles ,please keep your daughter safe and your family too ,

So shocked to hear of Ronnie’s passing. Such a lovely guy. Always had a big smile and never stopped talking about his beloved Mam. A great man for a good chat. He was a neighbour of ours in Cherrywood, Clondalkin and when he moved back to Drimnagh he always arrived at Christmas with a present for us. Such a kind and caring person. Condolences to Ronnie’s daughter and his family at this sad time. A true gentleman.
