Was very saddened to hear the news of Rorys passing, I have wonderful, funny memories stored away of our time working together in Stena Line, it was a true pleasure to have known him.

I realise now I knew your Dad when I dealt with Stena over a number of years in relation to offering trips in magazine competitions. He was such a pleasant and genuinely nice man. An absolute pleasure to deal with. Deepest sympathy to you all. May Rory’s gentle soul rest in peace.

Gay and I wish to express our deepest condolences to the Creagh family. Rory was an inspiration to many young people in Artane for many years, he instilled great values in a generation to be passed on to the next. Thanks for that Rory. Time keeping was not one of those. I turned up for his funeral mass on Saturday! Apologies to the family. I did get mass. This one example he gave me. RIP Rory.

Old friends are the best friends. That’s what you always used to say to me. I will miss our chats when you used to come up to the house. Most of all I will miss the stories of what you and my dad used to get up to when you were young lads. You lit up a room when you walked in and everyone wanted to have a chat with you and you always made time for everyone in the room. Thank you for being the best God father anyone could have wished for. RIP Rory. Old friends will always be the best friends.

So sorry to hear of Rory’s death. We grew up together in Craigford. A great place to grow up. Rory gave me the money to buy his first Aston Villa kit when I went to Birmingham on holidays when we were about 12. He was delighted with it. He was always so lovely to chat to.
