Deepest condolences to janine, fiona, Susan, jemima and sukey, Rory was a true gentleman with a wicked sense of humour. It was always a pleasure to be in his company, wether for business or otherwise.

Personally I have lost more than a friend, perhaps more correct to call him uncle, as I sometimes did by addressing to him.
We met the first time when I was 16 or 17 during a Shoes Exhibition in Bologna.
As student, I was there to help my father that was a shoe agent.
From that moment on, he became a ‘personal’ client of mine whom I always took care of, during his visits.
And since then… MarcoMoreo wouldn’t exist in Ireland if it weren’t for him and for the many years of work (discussions & fights) spent together.
I knew many things thanks to uncle Rory…
The lovely Ireland first… and the many nice people he introduced to me, during my numerous journeys up there.
The Golf as a second thing… and all the beauties (and pains) that Golf brings with it.
Thanks to Rory I learned many wise things and many ironic expressions and jokes (which made him unmistakeable) including is incurable sense of humour and our passion for Chinese food.
This, and much much more, was Rory for me.
A dear thought goes to Janine, Susie and Fiona and at the young Jemima and Sukie.

Janine , Fiona and Susan, i and my family are so sad to learn of the passing of our dear old friend Rory. He has gone to join his beloved Collette.
