Trips to Flynn's for groceries, sweets, beach balls, the smell of fresh bread and deli meats, random batches of sweets and soft drinks, there once and never again. John's leather apron. Looking back I'm eternally grateful for Mr. and Mrs. Flynn, the shop, the comfort and familiarity of smaller stores. So sad to see all the old faces fading away.
