To my dearest friend Ruth & to all your family our deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved Mother from my family, my Mom Christiana, Hendrik, Diane, Livi and Ashleigh.

I met your Mom a few times and she was always such a joyous and lovely lady. You were really bleased with a very special Mother and you shared a very strong and beautiful bond.

Ruth. you were the most wonderful daughter to your Mom. As you are a friend and a human . My heart goes out to you at this really sad time, as I know how close you were with your Mom and how her passing will impact your life. But I hope you know she knew and appreciated all you did,and loved you deeply, and when you are ready , you will live and look back with the most beautiful memories shared and remember all the love and joy you brought into each others lives. Especially your holidays & weekends away together, the hairdresser & lunches on Saturdays and evenings with movies and dinner at your house , including the lovely surprise birthdays you pulled off, even during covid. You always went the extra mile

I so wish I could have been there for you today at the beautiful ceremony you had to celebrate her life. Being able to watch and be there in spirit for you , was just as important to me

So I send you Angel kisses and big healing hugs instead and I will always be here for you. All my love Anita xxx

Rosaleen was a constant in our lives as teenagers growing up next door and then to all our children when they were down with Nana & Grandad and eagerly waited for Nana to bring them into Rosaleen where they would be treated with lots of goodies from her ‘goodie

Saddened by the passing of Aunt Rosaleen. I will always remember her for opening her home to us flying in from New York. Her home was cozy and welcoming and her meals delicious!! I have wonderful memories!

What wonderful pleasure I had in doing rosaleen's hair every week for the past 32 years.. She never had a bad word to say about anyone and always a smile for everyone.. She will be sadly missed but her beauty shines through in all her girls.. Rest well till we meet again x
