Deepest sympathies to Jim, Daniel and family at this sad time. Rosaleen- a beautiful, kind, thoughtful and generous person.

I hadn't seen Rosaleen for a very, very long time. But Rosaleen is a very prominent part of my most treasured memory.

When Daniel and I started playschool together, Jim would collect us from playschool and call me a scallywag.

When we started primary school at The Ink Bottle, it was Rosaleen that collected us from school. Our bustop overlooked the rose garden at the botanic gardens. Every time I see a rose, I stop to smell it, and Rosaleen is there and her beautiful long hair. My hairstyle is long and has been all my adult life because when I picture her, we are at the bus stop, and her long hair blows in the wind behind her right shoulder. She looked beautiful.

I was so happy to hear from her just weeks ago.

Rosaleen will be missed very much, I have many fond memories of her during our time in Finglas together. She was such a kind and hospitable person, I can't wait for the day we will all see her again.

Our hearts ache for you. I remember the first time I met dear Rose. I joined auntie Olive for her bible study in Linsay Rd. A start of a wonderful journey began and continued many decades. Rose became like a daughter to auntie Olive. As her faith grew, so did her beautiful heart. Jehovah surely has her "hidden like a treasure" along with all his other treasures. Job14:13

I am so sorry to hear about Rose, completely shocked. Rose had a heart of gold, and I have so many fond memories of going out on the ministry with her and mum, being fed in the kitchen, and listening to her and mum laugh their heads off. Those good ole days still make me laugh.

So very sad to hear that Rose is no longer with us.
I was only 19 when I first met Rose, but was immediately moved by her genuine, non judgemental, humble, love and concern for all.
There are not many people that have all these lovely qualities, but Rose had them all and more besides.

We are all heartbroken and in shock to hear about the sudden and sad passing of Rose.
She was one in a million: loving, caring, empathetic and gentle towards all.
Tirelessly working hard for her family, friends and even complete strangers by offering practical but most of all spiritual support.
Loving Jehovah was the very fibre of Rose 🌹 and he will never, ever forget all she has done for him; he will remember his beautiful daughter, that sadly left us too soon.
With tears we await Job 14:14,15:

If a man dies, can he live again?
I will wait all the days of my compulsory service
Until my relief comes.
You will call, and I will answer you.
You will long (or yearn) for the work of your hands.

This is the comforting hope that our dear Rose had. We hold onto this until we can embrace her again in our arms. We are also thinking of Jim and Daniel & all the family at this very difficult time and keep you in our prayers to our loving father.

Those sparkling eyes, the jolly laugh, that wholesome hug, those empathetic ears and that unjudging heart, Rose always had a beautiful story to tell and gave such encouragement and support to all the community and would do the same for a stranger. Her love had no boundaries and Jim and Daniel and all her family were always always mentioned if not nearby. Stories of Rose I am sure will continue to uplift and motivate many. A presence that will be felt and longed to be reunited with. Forever in our hearts xxx
