We are so sad at the passing of Rosaleen. She was a lovely lady , full of life and laughter. She always called in when she was staying in Mary’s next door and would entertain with news from Mayo. She remembered all our boys and asked after them. We hope you will find consolation in knowing how fondly she is remembered by so many.

Over the years I enjoyed meeting her at 10 am mass in Kiltimagh and had the pleasure of her company at my wedding over 30 years ago.

May she now rest in peace reunited with her husband Jimmy and all that have gone before.

We are all deeply saddened to hear of Nana’s death and offer everyone from ‘Next Door’ our sincerest condolences on her passing. Rosaleen was a wonderful lady. The long life she lived was a truly remarkable one. By all accounts, there was nothing like the neighbourly visits and chats upon her arrival in the village over seventy years ago. The current generation have many fond memories of her in more recent times. She was a legend in all our lifetimes and will be dearly missed.
