So sorry to hear of Rosaleens passing she was so kind and helpful as a visitimgvteacher in Ballyhaise N.S to me. Thank you for everything Rosaleen you will be sadly missed
I have just learned of the death of my dear friend Rosaleen. I am so sad to hear that this gentle, warm ,beautiful woman has left us. I will miss calling to her welcoming home on my trips to and from the west. We met in college and had great early teaching years. We reconnected when she moved by the lake and loved our catch up chats. I will miss her. My sincere sympathy to her loved ones.May her sweet soul Rest In Peace.
To Nicky, Assumpta and Joe, Liam and Michéal and all the extended families.
There is little we can add to what has already been said. Such a glamorous, fun loving and caring lady. Up for the craic and young at heart. Precious memories of important family get togethers which we shared with your beloved Rosaleen. Gone way too soon and such a huge part of all your lives. May she rest in eternal peace and give you strength to cope with the huge void left behind.
Rosaleen, you will not be forgotten. Your memory will live on and the next little generation whom you loved so dearly will grow up remembering you.
It is better to die and have people ask why you have no statue than to die and people not remember why you have one.
Sleep the perfect peace now where all suffering is over and full health restored.

Very shocked and saddened to read of Rosaleen's death. May I convey the sympathies of all the Carney family in Ballinasloe. Solas na bhflaitheas dá hanam uasal agus leaba i measc naoimh na hÉireann go raibh aici. RIP.
From as far back as I remember she has been by my side and behind the scenes making my life easier. She has been the backbone to my education until I went to college. She championed my life and always made me feel capable of achieving anything. I’ll never forget wondering what pair of pretty glasses she’d wear the next time I’d see her and I always looked forward to seeing her. She was an absolute lady and was simply amazing at what she did. Thursday we found out the world lost a lady it would never deserve. We were all so blessed to be touched by her caring nature. I can say with certainty that I will never forget her and I don’t think anyone ever could. I wouldn’t be where I am today without this lady. I am so shocked that her time here has ended but her legacy will always live on. I’m forever grateful to have known her.
Rest In Peace Rosaleen, sleep well.

Deepest condolences to the family of such a wonderful lady, Rosaleen. She was a breath of fresh air whom I enjoyed having in my class in St Colman’s from time to time. She gave so much care and attention to her work whilst still being fun and enthusiastic with the children. I will always remember our long chats about travel and fashion. She taught me so much about visual impairments and for that I am forever grateful. She will be so sadly missed. May she rest in peace.
Deepest sympathies to Rosaleen's partner and family on the loss of such a warm and caring lady. Rosaleen was a fantastic person of whom the staff and pupils all have fond memories. She was a most stylish lady and always professional in her interactions with staff and pupils.
She will be sadly missed.

Rosaleen was a dear friend of our school, and to the many pupils and families with whom she came in contact over the years.
Her understanding and commitment to the vital service she represented made sure there was one less arduous obstacle in the provision of services for children who needed them most.

It is with shock and sadness that we learned of the death of Rosaleen. She was a regular visitor to our school over the last 4 years. In all that time we always found her to be a smiling, warm and extremely helpful person. Her good humoured cheerfulness and efficient diligence as well as a genuine desire to be of assistance to both pupils with Special Education needs and their teachers was always very evident. We wished her well when informed of her retirement before summer and are very saddened to hear that her life was cut so short.
Our final wish for Rosaleen: "Solas na bhflaitheas agus leaba i measc na naomh go mbeidh agat a chara dhílis".
Kind regards,
