I was very saddened to recently hear of Rose's passing. She was a very dear friend of my late mother's, Rose Cahill. My parents always thought very highly and fondly of both Bob and Rose. My sincere condolences to Rose's loved ones. May she rest in peace.

My goodness I’m really saddened to hear of the passing of such a lovely lady. Mrs Desmond made my childhood memories of Halloween extra special. Each year she would make sticky apples for all the children who called to her home trick or treating, she was a popular lady especially on that evening.
