Rosamunde Cashen

From those of us watching from America: thank you for a beautiful ceremony celebrating Rosamund’s life. She was a loving niece to her aunt Maureen, who lived with us (Kirsten, Odin, Cashen, Roland) over the years in New York and London. Sammie was always sending us cards, letters and gifts from Ireland. She was a generous, creative and thoughtful soul with a wry sense of humor and wide ranging artistic and intellectual curiosity. We are still reeling from how abruptly she has been taken from us, but we want to thank everyone for sharing their memories and feelings in a way that will help ease the pain of her passing for everyone who loves her.

I'm so terribly sorry to hear of the untimely death of Ros. It seems like no time since I was talking to her, and I can hear her laugh even now. Our topics were invariably music, books, pirate talk (arr!) and treasured memories of Marcus. Ros was a lovely, creative and original person. She'll be sorely missed. My deepest sympathies to Christina, Trevor, Morgan, Roland, Cashen, Odin, Claire and all of Ros's friends, neighbours and relations. May she rest in peace.
