I was saddened to learn of Rose's death on Ireland Remembers at the weekend. I worked with Rose in Damart, Middle Abbey Street. Rose was a wonderful positive person to work with. I often think of her and the good times we shared in the shop. My condolences to all her family.

I only discovered , with great sadness, of Rose’s passing this morning. I didn’t know Rose well but met her many times whilst visiting Cara Care to visit my own Mam. She always impressed as an elegant , warm and generous lady, with a great spark of fun. I particularly recall her dancing when there were musical events and she always added a happy energy to any celebration in Cara. I was so sad to hear of her passing. It must be heart breaking for her family and all who loved her, especially in current times. Condolences to Rose’s family and friends and also to Carers in Cara, where she was much loved and will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.

I was so sad to hear of the passing of Rose. I didn't get to meet her but I know how much love you shared with her, Peter & Jacqui, and what a big part of your lives she was. Thinking of you both and all the family at this time, and wishing a peaceful rest to your dear mam.

So sad to hear about my Auntie Rose passing away. It's been a very long time since we last met, probably back in the late 70's, as I moved to the US in the early 80's, but I will always remember her smiling face. I named my second child after her, Kiera Rose. She's 20 now, and is happy (and sad) to know about her namesake.

Dear Peter, so sorry to hear of the death of your beloved Mam from Tony. May she rest in peace. It is a sad time for you, Jacquie and all those whose lives Rosie touched. May you find comfort and rest as you remember and celebrate the life of a wonderful person and a loving mother.

I remember her fondly from my early childhood including a picnic in Phoenix park with my cousins Charlie and Peter in the late sixties. May she rest in peace.

May Rose rest in peace. A beautiful person who helped us with our baby daughter in our hour of need 39 years ago. She came to our rescue and lived and minded Carmel for us whilst I was very ill in hospital. She remains to this day in our prayers as now also in death May she rest in peace

It is so sad to learn of Rose's passing. She was a vibrant figure throughout most of my life and even babysat for me a long time ago. I remember her with great fondness being a member of her extended family from my early childhood. I was a nephew of her husband Noel Dorman my mother's brother. I will miss her but have long-lasting fond memories of her cheerful nature and wonderful laugh and support when we lost loved ones. of our own.
